Ikigai has engaged or may engage in underlying or spot virtual currency transactions in a commodity pool. Although, NFA has jurisdiction over Ikigai and its commodity pool, you should be aware that NFA does not have regulatory oversight authority for underlying or spot market virtual currency products or transactions or virtual currency exchanges, custodians or markets. Investments in alternative investment vehicles entail substantial risk and are not intended as a complete investment program. Alternative investments are designed only for sophisticated investors who are able to bear the economic risk of losing all of their investment. Alternative Investments: (1) Often engage in leveraging and other speculative investment practices that may increase the risk of investment loss; (2) Can be highly illiquid; (3) Are not required to provide periodic pricing or valuation information to investors; (4) May involve complex tax structures and delays in distributing important tax information; (5) Are not subject to the same regulatory requirements as mutual funds; and (6) Often charge high fees. Opportunities for redemption and transferability of interests in alternative investments are restricted so investors may not have access to capital when it is needed.
